About Tianliao

    History

Tianliao According to history, Tianliao Township was a unsettled land. When the first settlers came to this area, they began to build huts by the fields for the convenience of farming. Later, more migrants came and formed today's tribe. Based on the investigation of genealogy, plaques of the family shrines, and inscriptions on tombstones, residents of today's Tianliao Township were mostly from Zhangzhou and Quanzhou of Fujian Province, China. The Tianliao people are hard-working and diligent, and nurtured a culture of optimism, loyalty, and honesty. Through centuries of vicissitudes, social development, and technology advancement, the people have kept their name without alteration up till today.
